Brock Purdy is NFC Offensive Player of the Month
The 49ers have dealt with numerous injuries in the first month of the season, but quarterback Brock Purdy has remained healthy and he is one of the main reasons the team is 3-0.
Purdy has gone 60 of 83 for 789 yards, nine touchdowns and one interception so far this season. His nine touchdown passes lead the league and he leads the league in a number of other metrics, including quarterback rating. Additionally, Purdy has yet to be fired this year.
That production and the 49ers’ record made Purdy the NFL’s choice for NFC Offensive Player of the Month for September.
Purdy was also the NFC Offensive Player of the Week in Week 2, but this is the first time he has won the monthly award.
