Cardi B is no longer performing at BZR WKND Jamaica this month, her rep says Billboard on Thursday (October 8).
The “AH HA” rapper was scheduled to take the stage on October 18 and headline BZR WKND Jamaica, a four-day festival celebrating music, culture, food, tourism, fashion and entertainment. Bardi is said to have taken over the National Stadium in Kingston, the same venue where Vybz Kartel sold out his comeback concert after his incarceration on New Year’s Eve 2024.
“Cardi B will not be performing at BZR WKND Jamaica on October 18, 2026,” read a statement from Cardi’s representatives to Billboard. “Cardi appreciates the love and support from her fans in Jamaica and looks forward to seeing them in the future. For more information regarding the status of BZR WKND Jamaica, ticketing or other event-related matters, please contact the event organizers directly. Any information regarding Cardi B and her future performances will be communicated exclusively through Cardi B’s official channels.”
As of press time, event organizers have not returned Billboards request for comment.
Last week (September 28), Billboard has exclusively revealed that Grammy-nominated dancehall superstar Spice will host this year’s BZR WKND Jamaica, with additional artists including Grammy-nominated R&B star Keyshia Cole and dancehall artists Malie Donn, Ding Dong, Stalk Ashley, Shaneil Muir and DJ MAC.
Cardi’s appearance at BZR WKND would have followed the Little Miss Drama Tour, which grossed more than $70 million and sold 453,000 tickets between February 11 and April 18, according to Billboard Box score. The “ErrTime” rapper launched her North American journey – her first real concert series in seven years – in support of her 2025 Am I the drama? LP, which debuted atop the Billboard 200 and spawned Top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hits like “Outside” (No. 10), the Kehlani-assisted “Ring” (No. 28) and “Magnet” (No. 37).
Recently, Bardi enjoyed Milan Fashion Week, where she attended Gucci’s “The Store Show.” Last month, she won her fifth career Moon Person at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards for “Safe” in the Best Hip-Hop category. Cardi has had quite a year at awards shows, with three wins at the American Music Awards in May and her triumph as Best Female Hip-Hop Artist at the BET Awards in June. Notably, she also confirmed to The breakfast club that she is already working on her third album, which she plans to release next year.
