Cardi B celebrated her youngest son’s first birthday with a big debut on Instagram, revealing the little boy’s name and face for the first time since welcoming Stefon Diggs a year ago.
In a Wednesday, Nov. 4, Instagram post, the rapper shared a bunch of photos of her son looking sharp in a handful of outfits, including one look with a green cap and expensive diamond chains, as well as another that finds him in a beanie and adorable striped overalls. “Happy 1st birthday to Gray MD🩶🩶🩶!!” Cardi wrote in the caption.
“It’s only been a year since I met you but I feel like I’ve had you by my side forever,” she continued. “I carried you through one of the most uncertain times of pressure in my life, but having you inside me through it all gave me extra strength. I was growing you inside me and at the same time you were giving me life!”
“You gave new meaning to what a gray day looks like,” she added. “You light up my life and every room with your smile, your laughter and your precious spirit.”
The rapper’s rep confirmed this in a statement shared with Billboard shortly after, his full name is Gray Marsean Diggs, sharing both his middle name and last name with his father.
Also in the post, Cardi included a few shots of what appears to be little Grey’s costume for Halloween 2026: a surgeon’s coat and a white doctor’s coat, with the Grey’s Anatomy logo in the background.
Gray is Cardi’s fourth child and her first with Diggs. She also shares daughters Kulture and Blossom and son Wave with ex-husband Offset.
The Grammy winner began dating the football player in the spring of 2025 and went Instagram official in June. A few months later, she revealed she was pregnant, announcing Gray’s birth on November 13 last year.
Things got rocky between Cardi and Diggs in February, with the former telling fans at a concert that month, “Just because I’m not a king with my baby daddy doesn’t mean you can talk about my baby daddy.”
They’ll reportedly be on again, off again over the next few months, but currently, it appears their relationship is strictly co-parenting with Grey. Cardi’s latest post comes a few months after she and Diggs had fans correctly guess the little one’s name by both wearing jewelry spelling out “Grey.”
