After a crazy first few weeks of the college football season, we may have our best slate yet in Week 4. Saturday features six matchups between teams ranked in the AP Top 25.
The day began with a highlight-reel matchup between No. 1 Texas and No. 14 Tennessee, and the Longhorns earned the rights to the “UT” nickname with a tough defensive performance. Texas’ Colin Simmons tied a school record with five sacks in a 20-17 win — although he got into some trouble after his first.

No. 17 Iowa provided the drama of the day in the afternoon, driving the length of the field in the final minute and scoring on a TD pass from Hank Brown to Reece Vander Zee as time expired to beat No. 18 Michigan 20-19. Elsewhere, No. 4 Ole Miss was bombarded by No. 21 Florida and No. 15 Utah held on for a 31-17 victory at Iowa State.
In the evening we have a trio of ranked matchups with No. 23 Texas A&M vs. No. 10 LSU, No. 20 Oregon vs. No. 12 USC and No. 19 Missouri vs. No. 24 Mississippi State. It’s an action-packed list that surely won’t disappoint.
