  • Consumers have reported hundreds of painful skin reactions in infants, many of which are serious and require medical attention, to the Consumer Product Safety Commission since early 2026.
  • Despite numerous reports from parents and the media, Millie Moon has taken no significant steps to explain the injury trend, rethink her diapers, or provide remedies to families whose babies have been harmed.

WASHINGTON, DC—Consumer Reports (CR) Today asked Millie Moon to recall her diapersbased on the increasing number and severity of incidents reported to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). CR advises parents and caregivers to stop using Millie Moon diapers while the cause of the infant’s skin reactions is investigated.

Gabe Knight, senior safety policy advocate for Consumer Reports, said: “When reports flood in of babies suffering from painful diaper rashes, and hundreds of them mention the same brand of diapers, this is a serious problem that should prompt the company and the government to act immediately. Millie Moon should issue a recall in conjunction with the CPSC to prevent more infants from being harmed.”

“While we understand that the company’s investigation is ongoing, there are simply too many reported incidents and injuries to wait any longer. Diaper rash may be a common illness, but it is highly unusual for so many reports to be linked to a single brand in such a short period of time. It is time for Millie Moon to act to keep infants safe and provide meaningful remedies to families whose babies have been harmed.” » Knight added.

More than 600 incidents involving Millie Moon diapers have been submitted to the CPSC this year, according to Consumer Reports’ opinion from the agency’s public database, SaferProducts.gov. Parents describe rashes, redness, bleeding, swelling, blistering, peeling, and other skin reactions. Many reports describe medical treatment, including at least three emergency room visits. In CR’s analysis, no other diaper brand comes close to this level of incidents during the same time period.
