Democrats widen battleground for House, reaching blood-red districts

The campaign arm of House Democrats announced Friday that they have added eight additional districts to the party’s list of “districts in play,” expanding the battleground map deep into Republican territory as the party becomes increasingly convinced that November’s elections could bring upset victories.
