Dennis Haskins, Mr. Belding in ‘Saved by the Bell,’ Dies at 75

Dennis Haskins, the actor best known for his role as Principal Richard Belding in “Saved by the Bell,” has died. He was 75 years old.

“Everyone loved Mr. Belding, and those of us who knew Dennis loved him even more,” his agent Jay Schachter said in a statement Tuesday, adding that the actor “absolutely LOVED his fans.” He did not provide the cause or date of death.
