The Philadelphia Eagles are on the road again in Week 3 for a Monday Night Football game against the Chicago Bears.
All eyes will be on the Eagles defense’s ability to stop Chicago’s running game, not only because that’s the part they’ve failed to stop in 2025, but also because the Bears rely on QB3 Case Keenum as their starter. Not that Keenum couldn’t run this offense, but he only had a week to prepare for the occasion, and his last regular season game was in December 2023 – that’s a long time ago. Still, the veteran shouldn’t be overlooked, and the Eagles defense needs to play more solidly than it has in two games this season.

It will also be a big night for the Eagles offense, especially the guys up front. Cam Jurgens and Drew Kendall have one more week of rehearsals under their belts in their new roles and will hopefully continue to develop. New OC Sean Mannion has added some really exciting elements, but the running game still needs a boost to make it a more complete package. Saquon Barkley will play despite a stumble last Sunday and will try to eliminate the number of negative plays from the ground game.

Week 3 is here! LET’S GOOOOOOO!
T4 (PHI 7 – CHI 27): Case Keenum makes the Eagles defense look terrible — and it doesn’t help that Philadelphia continues to take penalties on both sides of the ball. The Bears offense took 13 plays to score, eating up more than eight minutes.
T3 (PHI 7 – CHI 20): Case Keenum hasn’t been challenged much by the Eagles defense so far in this game and had another big drive that resulted in a touchdown via a 41-yard deep pass to Kalif Raymond.
Q3 (PHI 7 – CHI 13): The Bears were able to extend their lead early in the third quarter with a 48-yard field goal.
Q2 (PHI 7 – CHI 10): The Eagles managed to get on the board as the clock ticked 0:00 before halftime. Jalen Hurts was able to get the ball with one second left and QB sneaked it into the end zone for Philly’s first points of the night. Hurts was furious that he missed the end of a previous practice to be evaluated for a concussion, so he was motivated to get back into scoring position and was able to make the most of it.
Q2 (PHI 0 – CHI 10): Chicago was forced to settle for a field goal to extend its lead to 10 points.
Q1 (PHI 0 – CHI 7): The Bears were able to score on the first drive of the game, with QB Case Keenum leading them on an 11-play drive down the field.
