Don’t expect Zoe Saldaña to appear on any more Taylor Sheridan shows anytime soon.
The Oscar-winning actor, who played CIA agent Joe McNamara in Lioness for three seasons, recently admitted to People that the Paramount+ series “is all I can handle right now.”
Saldaña explained that she could not consider joining another project in Sheridan’s television universe because of the enormous commitment it entails. Lionessas star and executive producer of the spy thriller.
“I’m number one on the call list. I’m first in, last out. I prepare months before anyone else can. So it’s already a lot of work for me,” said the Avatar said the actress. “I can’t imagine tackling a world closer to Taylor Sheridan’s.”
Saldaña’s dedication to the series doesn’t seem to have gone unnoticed by the prolific creator.

The Paramount+ spy thriller, whose Season 3 finale aired earlier this month, focuses on Saldaña’s Joe and his team as they navigate dangerous global conflicts and risks to their personal safety. Lioness also stars Nicole Kidman, Morgan Freeman, Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton and Hannah Love Lanier, among others.
