“Fitbit Edge” is Google’s next fitness tracker with “Apps” and “Notifications”

Following an accidental marketing leak in August and an FCC listing last month, retail listings for the “Fitbit Edge” have now emerged.
Depending on the business assets shared by Android titlesGoogle is making a new wearable called “Fitbit Edge”.
There’s a bulbous screen that seems to fit much closer to the perimeter than that of any old Fitbit tracker. We see what is essentially a Pixel Watch face that has been adjusted for this form of display. Time and date come with complications related to heart rate, step count, and starting a workout.
On the back, we see the band removal mechanism at the top and bottom, as well as a sensor stack that looks quite similar to that of the Fitbit Air. Google could even use the same magnetic charger.
The left and right sides house metal strips presumably intended for ECG readings. It follows the design formula of the Fitbit Charge 6 very well.
The Pixel Watch Active Band type bands and cases come in Canyon, Obsidian, and Olive, similar to the Pixel 11 Pro.
The Fitbit Edge specs we have today come from a comparison chart with the Fitbit Air and Pixel Watch 5. “Connectivity” notes Bluetooth but not Wi-Fi and, compared to the Fitbit Air, notifications.
The “apps” listed include “Google Maps, Media & Music Controls, and Find My Phone.” The battery lasts “up to 7 days” and supports “Android and iOS”.
