HBO isn’t saving its liveliest new version for Sunday nights.
“War,” a new drama starring Sienna Miller and Dominic West, premieres tonight, October 1, on HBO and the streaming service HBO Max.
According to the network, “‘War’ is a high-stakes legal drama that follows the lives of London’s most powerful lawyers as the firms Cathcarts & Sons and Taylor & Byrne clash in a headline-grabbing legal battle.”

Ahead of its premiere tonight, “War” holds an 83% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, indicating critical success.
Given an initial two-season order, “War” Season 2 already began production earlier this year. Starring Marisa Tomei, season 2 will shift the focus from a high-profile divorce to a defamation case.
