Burrow was limited during Wednesday’s practice and didn’t do much throwing during the portion of practice open to the media. He later explained that he began feeling the discomfort sometime after Sunday’s game and couldn’t pinpoint a specific play that caused it.
The good news is that Burrow described the issue as normal postgame soreness and said he feels good. He also doesn’t believe the injury will prevent him from playing against Houston.

Burrow enters the matchup after completing 25 of 35 passes for 254 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Cincinnati’s 33-27 Week 1 victory over Tampa Bay.
The matchup against Houston won’t be easy. The Texans have elite pass rushers in Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter, making Burrow’s health particularly important heading into Sunday.
