Blanchard married Ryan Anderson, a special education teacher from Louisiana, after meeting him the same way through prison correspondence in 2020.

She married Anderson in 2022 while still incarcerated.
Blanchard, played by actress Joey King in the acclaimed miniseries The law– was finally released from prison in December 2023 after serving seven years, but by March 2024 the couple had severed ties.
“Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I have moved in with my parents in the bayou. I have the support of my family and friends to help me get through this,” she shared on Facebook at the time. “I’m learning to listen to my heart.”
As for Anderson, he attributes their divorce to “outside influences.”
