“Let the heroic games begin” – Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave brings the battle to Tetris 99

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave recently arrived exclusively on Switch 2, and to celebrate, Nintendo’s battle royale Tetris 99 will be hosting a special in-game event.

In the 57th Maximum Cup, the players who win 100 points will unlock a unique theme featuring special art, music and Tetrimino designs.

This event will take place later this week, October 2-5, and you can check out the official gameplay trailer above.

“The Tetris® 99 57th MAXIMUS CUP event will run from October 2 at 12:00 a.m. PT to October 5 at 11:59 p.m. PT. To participate, you will need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member* and play the online mode of Tetris 99 during the event period. You will earn event points based on your placement in each match. Once you have accumulated a total of 100 event points, a new theme will unlock, featuring art, music, and Tetrimino designs inspired by the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave** game for the Nintendo Switch 2 system!
