Matthew Perry’s Ex Rene Ashton Makes Surprise Sex Confession About Affair With Another Star’s Plane

Matthew Perry’s ex Rene Ashton says she and the late actor joined the “mile-high club” aboard Bruce Willis’ private plane.

“Before we went to film ‘The Whole Nine Yards,’ Bruce asked him and me to go to the Turks and Caicos Islands with him and his girlfriend at the time,” Ashton recalls in Netflix’s new three-part documentary, “The One About Matthew Perry.”

She said Perry was “so excited” to travel on the “Die Hard” star’s plane.

“He said, ‘Bruce wants us to go on his private plane. Bruce wants me to share a plane with him,'” Ashton recalled.

When asked by an off-screen producer what the plane ride was like, the 56-year-old cheekily replied: “I joined a club.”

As for the trip, Ashton said it was “pretty amazing.”

“There were no paparazzi there, so it was a nice, normal, fun trip,” she shared, adding that she was “in love” with the “Friends” alum because he was “deep down, good people.”

Page Six reached out to Willis’ rep for comment but did not immediately respond.

Ashton and Perry dated for about a year in 1999.

During their romance, the “Friends In Deadly Places” actress became concerned about Perry’s growing drinking problems – even calling her father, John Bennett Perry, for help.

The couple decided to separate in December 1999.

Matthew was found dead in his spa in October 2023. He was 54 years old.

According to the coroner’s report, the “Fools Rush In” actor died from the “acute effects of ketamine,” in addition to drowning, coronary artery disease and the effects of buprenorphine.
