Melissa Joan Hart Sparks Reaction by Showing Weight Loss Transformation in New Gym Video
Melissa Joan Hart shared a relatable new gym video on social media, and fans had a lot to say!
The Sabrina the Teenage Witch star maintained her impressive 18-pound weight loss after adjusting her lifestyle habits in 2025, inspiring many people in the process.
Most recently, the actress took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her workout – joking that she has a much more dominant arm. The footage saw Melissa – looking slim in a workout top and leggings while focusing on weights – effortlessly lifting herself with her right arm, while struggling more with her left arm.

“Anyone else have an arm named Jeff?” she wrote at the top of the video. She added audio of Channing Tatum’s iconic line “My name’s Jeff” from the 2014 comedy 22 Jump Street, a viral meme commonly used online to make fun of something awkward, weak, or uncooperative.
“In defense of my left arm, it carries all the groceries while I unlock the door,” she wrote. Fans were quick to comment on the funny video, with one writing: “Girl you make me laugh,” while another wrote: “OMG yes, relevant and hilarious.” A third added: “I love your 3 sets of weights. Like oh yeah let’s go heavy, then like no, and no again. That’s so me!”

She told People: “I just wanted to feel better. It had nothing to do with losing weight. I really didn’t think I could lose weight anymore, being in my 40s and perimenopause and all that kind of stuff, I was like, ‘Can I really lose weight? I don’t think I can do it.'”

Melissa admitted she hadn’t had a drink “in over a year,” which made it pretty easy for her to withdraw from her life because she “don’t even like drinking.” “I removed those things from my life and I started to feel better. And in doing so, I lost a lot of weight and I feel great,” she said.
