Milania Giudice seen yelling at Teresa, called a ‘danger to herself’ in police bodycam footage of airport confrontation

Police body camera footage of Milania Giudice’s recent outburst at Tampa International Airport was just obtained by Page Six — and it shows her yelling at her mother, “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice and her sister Gia Giudice.

In the heartbreaking footage, one of the airport police officers was heard telling his colleague that Milania, 20, “had just come out of a Baker Act facility”. (In Florida, a person can be hospitalized for up to 72 hours for an emergency mental health evaluation under the Baker Act.)

“They actually hired a counselor,” the officer said. When her colleague asked her, “Is she a danger to herself?” the first officer replied, “Yes, that’s why she took Baker Act. They’re trying to get her back to a rehab center.”

He also said the situation appeared “serious.”

Elsewhere in the footage, Gia, 25, was seen trying to keep Milania calm and assuring her that the police were “trying to help” them “take (Milania) to treatment”, but the latter continued to “run away” from them.

“It’s not good for you,” Gia said, prompting Milania to tell the officers to “run away.”

One of them then told Milania that she was “not in control of the situation” and asked her to sit back and wait for Teresa.

Gia kept telling her sister that she wanted her to “get better,” to which Milania asked the officers, “Can I vape here?”

After they told her she couldn’t, she started yelling at Teresa, who was coming back to her: “Hurry up, Mom! Why don’t you run? Why don’t you run? You want to cause a scene? You want to cause a scene, Teresa!”

The group then began walking towards their gate, accompanied by the officers. As seen in the video widely shared on social media last Wednesday, Milania took out her phone and started filming her mother and sister, shouting: “Is this what we do now? Is this what we do?”

Once in the elevator, Teresa, 54, told Milania: “After you get help, you will never need to talk to me again.” » Milania responded by posting the video she had just taken on her Instagram story.

“Don’t publish it,” Teresa urged, as a “numb” Gia chimed in, “Mom, who cares?”

Teresa sighed and reluctantly agreed, saying, “I don’t care. I’m trying to save your life.” She then told police that Milania “had fentanyl in her system.” But the University of Tampa student insisted: “Because I was stuck.” »

Teresa spent the rest of the elevator ride repeating, “I want to save you,” while Gia called her sister “reckless.” Milania responded by pointing out that she is in college.

As the elevator doors opened, Milania asked her mother and sister, “Do you want to put me back in the psychiatric ward?”

She was then seen going to the toilet while some police officers waited for her outside. One of the police officers told his colleague that Milania “kept talking loudly to her mother” and that she was “yelling at her on the train.”

Once at the door, one of the officers suggested keeping Milania away from her family because “forcing them to be together only fans the flames.”

The police report on the incident stated that Milania suffered from “mental depression” and “suicidal thoughts.”

Representatives for the Giudice family did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment on the body camera footage.

However, after the airport confrontation made headlines, Milania’s manager told us that his client was going through “an incredibly difficult time in her life, especially after the devastating loss of her best friend, Victoria (Zardoya),” who died in a tragic accident in late July.

Milania is “under the care of professionals who work with her and her family” as she focuses on her “health, healing and well-being,” according to her manager.

As for Teresa, a source previously told Page Six that she was “very worried” about her third daughter and “didn’t know what to do” to help her.

Gia, meanwhile, agreed with a social media commenter who claimed she was “trying to be a calm peacemaker” during the altercation.

“The work of being the oldest,” the “Next Gen NYC” star lamented in response.

Teresa shares Gia, Milania, Gabriella Giudice, 21, and Audriana Giudice, 17, with her first husband, Joe Giudice, whom she divorced after their respective stints in prison for federal fraud.

Joe, 56, previously told Page Six that he “will always stand by” Milania while acknowledging that she is “trying to deal” with her friend’s death and “dealing with the pressures that come with growing up in the public eye.”

Milania was arrested for simple assault in May after allegedly “knowingly causing bodily injury to another, including striking the victim, LR, in the head with her fist, causing redness to the center of the victim’s forehead, during a domestic dispute” at the home of Teresa and her husband Luis “Louie” Ruelas in New Jersey.

Milania pleaded not guilty but promised to take an anger management course. She is scheduled to return to Montville Township Municipal Court for a virtual hearing in the case Tuesday.
