Case Keenum, playing in his first game since 2023, ran for a touchdown and threw for two touchdowns to lead the Bears to a 27-7 blowout of the Eagles. Both teams are 2-1.
Despite playing without starting quarterback Caleb Williams, who was out with a hamstring injury, the Bears dominated the Eagles.
Keenum, in his 67th career start, joined Ryan Fitzpatrick as the only quarterbacks to win starts for seven different NFL teams.
He threw an 8-yard touchdown to Luther Burden and a 41-yard touchdown to Kalif Raymond. A 6-yard touchdown pass to Colston Loveland was overturned on replay, with the tight end just shy of the goal line. Keenum ended the team’s scoring in the fourth quarter with a 1-yard touchdown run on third down.
Keenum went 24 of 34 for 247 yards. Raymond caught six passes for 90 yards and Burden added seven for 61.
The Bears outgained the Eagles 375 to 248 yards and held the ball for 36:53.
Philadelphia never led.
The Eagles pulled within 10-7 at halftime, with Jalen Hurts scoring on a drive on the final play of the half. Philadelphia, however, opened the second half with three straight three-and-outs and 12 total yards.
The Eagles, who had 62 yards in the second half, shot themselves in the tackle all night.
Andy Dalton, who briefly replaced Hurts after the starter was removed from the game for a concussion check, threw an interception in the end zone from the 2-yard line. This was rookie Dillon Thieneman’s first career pick.
Hurts threw an interception at the Chicago 46; Tank Bigsby lost a fumble on his own 15; the Eagles were 2 of 9 on third downs; and they committed 10 penalties, including four on defense.
Hurts was 16 of 25 for 153 yards and one interception, with DeVonta Smith catching six for 65. Saquon Barkley had 15 carries for 82 yards.
