The Powerball jackpot continues to rise after no one matched all six numbers on Saturday, October 3.

With the top prize remaining unclaimed, the jackpot now stands at approximately $467 million, with a cash value of $192.4 million, for the next drawing on Monday, October 5.

Although there was no jackpot winner, one ticket sold in Arizona brought in a seven-figure payday. The ticket matched all five white balls to win a $1 million Match 5 prize.

The refinancing marks another step in the jackpot’s steady climb since an Illinois player won a $1.04 billion prize in August. Now, lottery players will have another chance to win a prize close to half a billion dollars when the next numbers are drawn Monday evening.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Monday, October 5 at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET.

With a new rollover, the jackpot will be estimated at $467 million, with a cash option of $192.4 million.

How to play Powerball

Powerball tickets cost $2 per game and are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Depending on local laws, players may also have the option to purchase tickets online.

To play, select five white ball numbers from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball number from 1 to 26. Players can also add Power Play for an additional $1 to increase non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X.

Would you rather leave it to chance? Choose a quick selection and let the computer generate your numbers.

To win the jackpot, a ticket must match all five white balls and the red Powerball. If no one wins, the jackpot starts again and continues to grow.
