Chad Lowe’s daughter dies at 13
Actor Chad Lowe and his family are mourning the death of his 13-year-old daughter Fiona, remembering the “intelligent and creative” teenager who loved to dance as “the light of our lives.”

Chad Lowe’s 13-year-old daughter Fiona died at a Los Angeles hospital, according to new information from the medical examiner.
Fiona died on September 29, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office. As of October 1, the cause of his death had not been made public.
“We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” the family said in a statement provided to Page Six on Tuesday.

“She was a loving, intelligent, creative young girl who loved to dance,” the statement continued. “She was adored by her sisters and deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives.”
“His passing is devastating to our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time.”
The family concluded their statement by encouraging anyone struggling with mental health issues to contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis lifeline by calling or texting 988.

The family celebrated Fiona’s 13th birthday in November 2025.
“We’re celebrating Fiona officially becoming a teenager today!!” Lowe wrote alongside a photo of his daughter smiling and wearing cowboy boots. “Keep dancing your way through life FiBear! I love you so much!!”

Fiona was the middle child of Lowe and his wife Kim Painter. The two have been together for nearly two decades, building a relatively private family life away from the Hollywood spotlight.
The couple married in 2010 and have two other daughters, Mabel and Nixie.

Lowe, the younger brother of actor Rob Lowe, is an Emmy-winning actor and director best known for “Life Goes On,” “Pretty Little Liars” and “9-1-1: Lone Star.”
Painter is a producer and casting professional whose credits include “Enemy of the State,” “Ted Bundy” and “Instant Dads.”
