The first window offered plenty of action, with the New England Patriots upsetting the Buffalo Bills in a shocker, while the Houston Texans fell to 0-4 with a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in one of the most exciting games of the afternoon.

CJ Stroud had a flawless game with 347 passing yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Dak Prescott-CeeDee Lamb connection. The two connected for the go-ahead touchdown with just 0:43 left, as Lamb finished his day with a career-high 17 receptions for 189 yards and a score on 21 targets.
For all the excitement the afternoon offered, it also caused a few injuries to key contributors. Star running back Saquon Barkley left Sunday’s loss to the Los Angeles Rams with a hamstring injury and has been ruled out. Cincinnati Bengals star Ja’Marr Chase was also ruled out with a concussion in Sunday afternoon’s loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, while MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson left their win over the Tennessee Titans with an ankle injury, replaced by Tyler Huntley.

Both defensive lines were strong at the start of the match. San Francisco was facing third-and-1 and elected to give the ball to McCaffrey.
Denver’s defense put the pressure on and ended up stopping him for no gain. This forced the Niners to punt.

The Vikings lead the Dolphins 6-0 with two field goals. There are 7 minutes left in the first half.

To start the second quarter, Christian McCaffrey picked up three yards.
That set up fourth-and-1 for the 49er offense. Brock Purdy elected to keep it, but he was stuck at the line and the Broncos took over after the turnover on downs.

On the other side of the break, San Francisco will have the ball at the Denver 41 facing third-and-4.

It looked like Malik Willis and Chris Bell combined for a monster touchdown for the Dolphins.
During the replay, Bell went out of bounds and was charged with an illegal touch, nullifying the score.

After Xavier Worthy’s huge gain, Patrick Mahomes hit Tyquan Thornton for the easy score.
The Chiefs tie the score at 7.

The Broncos are first on the board against the 49ers.
Denver went down 13, but couldn’t catch up due to a poor offensive holding penalty.
The Broncos settled for a 52-yard field goal.

Mahomes escaped pressure and simply floated a ball down the field. Xavier Worthy made the contested catch and a 41-yard gain.

The game between the Chargers and Seahawks was crazy at first.
After back-to-back interceptions from the quarterbacks to start the game, the Chargers scored a field goal to take a 3-0 lead.
The Los Angeles defense then stopped Seattle’s offense by forcing a punt. The Chargers then fumbled the punt and the Seahawks took over in excellent field position.
On the next play, Seattle running back Emmanuel Wilson caught a pass from Sam Darnold and carried it 23 yards to the house.

The Broncos are trying to build momentum. Bo Nix threw a simple pass to running back Tyler Badie while under pressure.
The pass hit Badie perfectly in stride, and he took it down the sideline for a 25-yard gain.

After the Las Vegas defense succeeded on the Chiefs’ fourth-and-2 attempts, Kirk Cousins connected with tight end Ian Thomas for a 27-yard touchdown pass.
Cousins completed 3 of 3 passes on the drive for 46 yards and the score.

Kansas City successfully completed the fake punt earlier in its drive. The Chiefs opted to go for it on fourth down, but the Raiders defense stepped in and pushed them to take over.

After San Francisco forced Denver into a 3-and-out on its first possession, the 49ers looked to gain momentum.
San Francisco picked up a first down on a 12-yard run by Christian McCaffrey and another later in the drive on a two-yard run by Brock Purdy.
That’s where the momentum stopped and the 49ers were forced to punt after eight plays.

The Broncos got the ball first, but couldn’t do anything with it.
Bo Nix threw a two-yard pass to Jaylen Waddle, then back-to-back incompletions.
Denver was forced to punt after having the ball for less than a minute.

It looked like the Raiders were going to get the ball back, stopping the Chiefs on their first drive.
Kansas City responded when punter Matt Araiza took off down the right side of the line for a 12-yard gain and another series of downs.

Justin Herbert’s woes continued on his first pass attempt of the game. The Chargers QB was taken out by the Seattle defense. He has already thrown five INTs this season.
The good news for the Chargers is that on the next play, Sam Darnold returned an INT directly to the Los Angeles defense.

The Rams had a successful comeback in the fourth quarter against the Eagles.
Jalen Hurts had to throw up a prayer on the field, but the Rams knocked the ball away to secure the victory.
Los Angeles wins 24-20. Philadelphia led 20-10 at halftime. The Rams used two fourth-quarter touchdowns to win.
The Eagles struggled to extend drives and went 0-12 on third down.

CJ Stroud threw a Hail Mary over time and once the chaos was settled, it was clear that no Texans had come to the reception.
Houston loses 34-30 and falls to 0-4. Dallas improves to 2-2 with the victory.

Jacoby Brissett looked at one too many wide receivers. After several failed attempts to score the TD needed to take the lead over New York, the Giants knocked him out and finished the game by coming back to score.

The Los Angeles running back fought through multiple defenders, rushed into the end zone and scored the necessary points.
After the extra point, the Rams lead by four with 1:10 left.
