
Northridge shooting: Kimberly Pastor identified as second victim after fatally shot at party at event site near CSUN
NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A 19-year-old woman has been identified as one of two victims after she and another person were shot and killed at a party at a music venue in Northridge.
An online fundraiser shared by Artist Lounge, the location where the shooting took place Friday night, confirmed that Kimberly Pastor was one of the people who died. Jaydin Lewis, 18, had previously been identified as the victim.
Pasteur was the mother of a 2-year-old son.
“We are absolutely committed to raising this money for Jaydin and Kimberly,” a statement on the GoFundMe campaign said. “Your generosity can help support their families, honor their memories and help Artist Lounge recover as we work to regain the trust of our community and create a safer place where tragedies like this will never happen again.”

The shooter was still at large as of Monday morning.
The shooting took place at the Artist Lounge on Nordhoff Street, a short walk from California State University, Northridge. – where the owner said the venue was hosting a promotional event for an up-and-coming artist. The shooter opened fire inside as the room was filled with guests.
Los Angeles police said they received a call about a loud party at the Artist Lounge just after 11 p.m.
When the police arrived, they asked the organizers to stop the party and shortly after, shots rang out.
Cellphone video shows witnesses taking cover and rushing to escape as gunshots ring out.
The LAPD said the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
Owner Irene Ajemyan-Lake said a security guard was working at the scene when the shooting occurred.
“There was a security guard here, but like I said, someone had bad intentions. They fell through the cracks, and it’s very unfortunate. It happened very quickly,” Ajemyan-Lake said.
