Odell Beckham Jr.’s second stint with the New York Giants came to an end after three games.
Beckham was released by the Giants after receiving just one target with no catches through the first three weeks of the 2026 season.
Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport of NFL Network were the first to report the news.
NFL insider Jordan Schultz added that the decision was mutual from both parties, with Beckham hoping to land with a team that can better utilize his talent.

Beckham signed with the Giants on June 1, returning to the franchise that originally drafted him in 2014. This also marked his return to the NFL after missing the 2025 season.
The last time Beckham appeared in an NFL game was in Week 14 of the 2024 season with the Miami Dolphins. He was released a few days later.
New York added Beckham in part as insurance for Malik Nabers, who was recovering from a torn ACL suffered early in the 2025 season. He performed well in the preseason with seven receptions for 76 yards in three games.
The Giants included Beckham on their 53-man roster after the final selections on August 30. He was part of a receiving room that included Nabers, Malachi Fields, Darnell Mooney and Darius Slayton.
Nabers and Fields were the Giants’ two starting receivers through the first three weeks. Mooney ranks third on the team in receiving yards so far, behind Isaiah Likely and Nabers.
Beckham only played 20 offensive snaps in the first three games. He scored his first goal in Sunday’s win over the Tennessee Titans.
If this marks the end of Beckham’s time with the Giants, his 5,476 receiving yards rank second in franchise history. His 88.3 yards per game are the most for a Giants player.
