Panthers vs. Packers live updates, inactive, where to watch: Jordan Love and Green Bay look to bounce back on ‘Thursday Night Football’ against Bryce Young, Carolina
The Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers will open Week 8 on “Thursday Night Football,” with kickoff set for 8:15 p.m. ET at Lambeau Field. The game will be broadcast on Prime Video.
Despite being just 3-3, the Panthers maintain the lead in the NFC South thanks to a tiebreaker against the Atlanta Falcons. They will look to bounce back from an embarrassing home loss to their division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week, where they lost 43-13 with a season-high four turnovers. The Bucs won this game with just 64 total passing yards as Carolina struggled to stop the run, giving up 258 yards on the ground. Adding insult to injury (literally), starting right tackle Taylor Moton suffered a fractured fibula in Week 7, in only his second game due to a blood clot.

The Packers will also look to bounce back from a Week 7 loss to the Detroit Lions 20-17 thanks to a field goal from Detroit kicker Jake Bates. Green Bay will have plenty of offensive opportunities this week after seeing how the Bucs exploited the running game against the Panthers, with Josh Jacobs in his second game after being activated from the commissioner’s exempt list.
