The first leak of Google’s upcoming Pixel 11a has just hit the web, revealing a mostly unchanged design and suggesting the mid-range device could have a purple colorway.
@OnLeaks and Android titles today released a series of CAD-based renders depicting the Pixel 11a and, yes, it looks very familiar. The same camera bar-less design as the Pixel 10a and Pixel 9a before it, and essentially identical dimensions at 153.46 x 72.35 x 9mm – the Pixel 10a measured 153.9 x 73 x 9mm.
The only other noteworthy information here concerns the color lineup, which the report says will include black, silver, green, and purple.
Purple would certainly be welcome, as Google’s attempts at purple so far have included 2019’s “Purple-ish” Pixel 3a in a very light shade of the color, while Pixel 9a’s “Iris” had a periwinkle-like color. The renders depict a deeper purple color, but it’s unclear if this is based on any actual leaked information beyond just the idea that the phone is purple.
An earlier leak suggests that the Pixel 11a will be powered by Tensor G6, jumping Tensor G5 into the mid-range range after the Pixel 10a is stuck with Tensor G4.
