Celebrations are in order for Lou, Heidi Klum’s youngest daughter, who turned 17 on Friday.
The German model, 53, shares four children, Leni, 22, Henry, 21, Johan, 19, and Lou, with ex-husband Seal (she welcomed Leni with ex Flavio Briatore, and she was eventually adopted by the singer), and shared a touching message in honor of her daughter’s big day.

“Happy 17th birthday, darling Lou. I love you so much and I’m so proud of you and everything you do. Where has all the time gone?” Heidi wrote, alongside a series of adorable images and videos featuring Lou.
The photo featured saw beaming new mum Heidi beaming with little baby Lou in what appeared to be a hospital photo.
In another snap, Heidi, who was pregnant with Lou, showed off her blossoming baby bump as she snuggled up to her eldest son Henry.
Other photos showed a little Leni feeding her newborn sister and beaming at the camera as she did so.
A video featured in the update showed Lou copying her famous mother, strutting her stuff for a catwalk at home.

The comments were filled with messages from Heidi’s 12.6 million followers who rushed to share birthday messages with the teen.
One replied: “Amazing! You are MAGICAL.” A second added: “Such beautiful recordings,” alongside three heart-eye emojis. Meanwhile, a fourth wrote: “Sooooo sweeeeet.”
All grown up
Lou’s big day came just days after she looked grown-up while stepping out alongside her famous model mother on day six of Paris Fashion Week.
Holding Heidi’s hand, the 17-year-old looked radiant as she held Heidi’s hand and beamed at the cameras.

Lou – who rarely makes public appearances – wore a corseted vest and mini skirt, which she teamed with patterned ultra-stacked heels.
Her long, curly hair hung loose around her shoulders, while Heidi gave off her usual A-list je ne sais quoi in an all-white suit.

Even though she now only has two of her four children at home, Heidi has always loved having a full house.
“I like having a home where they feel safe,” she continued. “My son was having a barbecue with his friends in the backyard the other day and doing all the things I taught him. It was so cute. For me, it’s always the more, the merrier. I love when they’re all home.”
