Rams expect Puka Nacua to play in Week 4
It appears receiver Puka Nacua will be back in the Rams lineup this week.
Nacua has missed the last two games and the last two weeks of practice with what is being called a hip and groin injury, but head coach Sean McVay said in a news conference that he will participate in Wednesday’s practice on a limited basis. McVay also said he expects Nacua to play against the Eagles in Philadelphia on Sunday.
This will be a welcome development for the Rams as they try to even their record at 2-2.
Konata Mumpfield had four catches for 93 yards and a touchdown against the Broncos in Week 3, but Davante Adams carried a heavy load with Nacua and the Rams’ overall offensive capabilities will be improved if they have both wideouts on the field this weekend.
