The Chiefs will be without wide receiver Rashee Rice against the Chargers on Sunday.
Head coach Andy Reid told reporters Friday that Rice has been ruled out for the AFC West clash. Rice was unable to practice this week due to hamstring and knee injuries.
Rice has 13 catches for 190 yards and a touchdown so far this season. This will be the first game he will miss.
Reid also ruled out left tackle Josh Simmons due to a back injury that has kept him out of action this year. Simmons returned to practice this week, however, and that bodes well for his chances of returning to the lineup in the near future.
