Eileen Fox, a teacher and mother of four, was left traumatized after discovering her husband’s “secret double life” after 30 years of marriage.
Shortly after, she was diagnosed with three different types of cancer and had to undergo several invasive procedures.
The Internet was furious with the husband when Fox’s story resurfaced recently amid an unauthorized memoir circulating online.
She had pictured her future traveling abroad and volunteering for causes, but much of her time would now have to be spent fighting three different types of cancer.
Fox’s recent history went viral again in October 2026 after true crime influencer Abby Escobar, known online as Abby Blabby, shared it.
He left angry userswith some even suggesting that Fox should take legal action.
“We should be able to sue this in all 50 states,” one person said.
Eileen Fox’s life was turned upside down when she discovered her husband’s multiple affairs after an arrest for drunk driving

In August 2017, her husband was arrested for drunk driving in a neighboring state while returning home from a nudist resort, leaving Fox “stunned” and “numb,” she revealed in an April 2026 episode of Tell me how powerful you are.

She did some “searching” and quickly found dozens of Craigslist messages, hotel reservations and other evidence of his adultery with multiple partners and sex workers, both male and female.
At first, she was simply in shock at her husband’s “double life”, then she immersed herself in a “world of magical thinking”, hoping that her husband would protect himself during the encounters.

But then she decided to get herself and her husband tested for sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), which was even more painful than the cheating.
Fox was soon diagnosed with three different cancers and his private parts required extensive surgery.

16 months later, when Fox went for an annual Pap test at her gynecologist’s office, she discovered she had contracted HPV16, a dangerous strain of human papillomavirus associated with several types of malignancies, with the words “high risk” highlighted next to the result.

Shortly after, additional testing revealed stage 1 cervical cancer, followed by anal dysplasia in 2023, a precancerous condition in which cells experience abnormal growth.
Fox had a lesion and most of her labia removed and underwent a complete radical hysterectomy. She has been on constant treatment every 90 days for seven years now, after her doctors declared the cancerous tumors treatable.

“Every day I have a physical reminder of the violence he perpetrated on my body,” she said on the podcast.
Netizens were furious over husband’s ‘reckless’ acts of adultery

“How can people act like this and do this to someone they supposedly loved at one time?” one person was shocked. Another said: “I hope she sues him and gets every penny.” »

A third shared: “My ex-husband was unfaithful and I didn’t know it until I contracted HPV 2.5 years after we were married while I was pregnant with our son. »
While most of Fox’s posts since the reveal have focused on raising awareness about HPV and HPV-related cancer, she occasionally shares personal notes, mourning the life she once had, which are showered with love from her followers.

“I had the emotional bandwidth to be thrilled to find a parking space for a rock star. I was light. That woman is long gone,” she cried.
Fox denounced ‘fake’ memoir about her life as she advocated for HPV vaccine
Fox knew about the HPV vaccine, which was introduced in the United States in 2006 and, if taken before exposure, reduces the chance of contracting the disease by up to 90 percent.

Today, she advocates for HPV awareness and for the vaccine, which can be taken from 9 years old and up to 45 years old, but after consulting a doctor.
After Fox went public with her story, Tracy O. Predmore wrote a memoir about it called EILEEN MCGILL FOX’S STORY: A path of strength, resilience and inspiration for others to embrace health and released it on April 16, 2026.

On September 16, Fox clarified on social media that she had not authorized the book: “This is NOT my memoir! I did not cooperate, consent, or participate in this publication. I will let you know when my own book becomes available.”
“Thank you for being a part of resistance to the patriarchy,” said one of Fox’s supporters.
