
Reggie McFadden, ‘In Living Color’ and Stand-Up Comedy Star, Dies at 57

Reggie McFadden, a longtime comedian who has appeared in several television series, including In living color And Def Comedy Jam, died.
Reggie McFadden’s sister Bernice McFadden informed The Hollywood Reporter of the actor’s death. Bernice McFadden said she learned from the U.S. State Department that her brother had died in Tanzania — where he resided for 18 years — but that she did not know when or how he died. He was 57 years old.
Apart from Def Comedy Jamthe comedian has done stand-up on several television shows, including Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Late Show with David Letterman, A Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn And Last Call with Carson Daly.
He also played various characters in the fifth season of creator Keenan Ivory Wayans’ sketch comedy series. In living color from 1993 to 1994.

Reggie McFadden was born on November 30, 1968 in Brooklyn, New York. According to his biography on The Comedy Store website, McFadden “grew up in the tough neighborhoods of Brooklyn” and “decided to pursue comedy after realizing early on that if he didn’t work hard, he would end up in the projects across the street.”
“Reggie quickly made a name for himself in New York after paying his dues,” his bio adds. “In 1991, he got his big break when the producers of the HBO series Def Comedy Jam invited him to appear on their show. It immediately had enormous success. »
