Reminder: Zelda: Ocarina Of Time – Playable Ocarina available now on the Nintendo Store

When Nintendo lifted the lid on the Ocarina of Time remake, it also announced the release of electronic, playable ocarinas.

HORI’s electronic ocarina is already sold out in many locations around the world, and now, alongside the release of the anticipated title on Switch 2 this week, Nintendo’s playable ocarina is officially going on sale in select regions around the world.

It is now available on the Nintendo Store in Japan for 5,500 yen and in Australia for AUD 54.85. We’ll share an update when it’s available in the US and UK. While it doesn’t look like HORI’s electronics, you can still use it within range of the Switch 2’s built-in mic to play songs in-game.

“This is a playable version for music lovers! In The Legend of Zelda™: Ocarina of Time, play (or simply hum) one of Link’s learned ocarina melodies within range of the Nintendo Switch 2 console’s built-in microphone, and he will perform the song in-game.”

As noted, this playable ocarina also includes a leaflet with sheet music. Here are some additional details and dimensions:

Tuning (key): Alto C tuning, Materials: ABS, Polyurethane synthetic leather, Polyester, Dimensions: 8.3 cm x 15 cm x 4.5 cm (approx.)
