Three people, including a child, were injured Saturday after a small plane crashed in San Jose, firefighters said.
The plane crashed near the intersection of Capitol Expressway and Excalibur Drive in northeast San Jose shortly after 3 p.m., according to the San Jose Fire Department.
Firefighters did not immediately reveal the cause of the accident.
Two adults and a child were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
Firefighters said the crash resulted in a small fuel spill onto the road, which was absorbed. Firefighters asked motorists to avoid the area.
