Savannah Chrisley and Fiancé Jason Galanis’ ‘Crazy’ Engagement Ring Could Be Worth $1.5 Million
Savannah Chrisley has big bling.
On Tuesday, the reality star announced that she was both pregnant and engaged, writing, “I prayed for this life. I cried for this life.”
Although she originally kept her man a mystery, the fiancé was revealed to be Jason Galanis, whom she called “my protector. My fiercest fighter. My most loyal person. My lover. My safe place.”
Galanis, 56, popped the question with a huge sparkler from Nicole Genovese of Genovese Jewelers, who took a closer look at the bling.
The ring features a large oval cut diamond at its center flanked by half-moon diamonds on either side. Set in rose gold, the ring also adds sparkle with a pavé shank.
Rare Carat CEO and Founder Ajay Anand spoke with Page Six Style and shared, “I would estimate that the center stone is easily 15 to 18 carats,” adding that each of the side stones appears to weigh around 2 carats each.
Additionally, “Assuming it is a high quality natural diamond, potentially even D Flawless, I would estimate the retail value of the ring at over $1.5 million, potentially much higher depending on its exact specifications and certification,” he concluded.
In addition to the huge rock, Chrisley also showed off a coordinating eternity band with prong-set oval-cut diamonds, also set in rose gold.
According to Chrisley, the couple met last summer and he proposed just five months into dating – in December 2025, while he was on vacation in the Cayman Islands.
Guessing about the moment on her podcast, she shared, “And when he gave me the ring, he was like, ‘Before I open this, I just want you to know that this is just an expression of love for you. It can be whatever you want. It can be an engagement ring, a promise ring, a cocktail ring for all I care. I just want you to know how much I love you.'”
She also added, “The ring is crazy and it’s everything I’ve ever wanted.”
Although Chrisley calls her fiancé “J” in her Instagram post and “Jason” during her podcast, in an effort to keep his identity a secret, Us Weekly quickly identified her new man, who has been convicted of several financial fraud schemes.
In fact, Galanis and his father, Todd Chrisley, served time together in the same prison and President Trump commuted the former’s sentence while pardoning the latter, eliminating his unpaid restitution.
Galanis and Chrisley plan to make it official in May 2027.
