Sit/Start 2026 Week 6: Examining all Fantasy-relevant players in every matchup
Welcome back, fantasy footballers! We’re here for Week 5 of Sit/Start, where I, Jay Felicio, will take you on a journey through each game to break down every fantasy-relevant player to let you know which ones will lead you to victory and which ones will break your roster. With two full weeks of data, we already have some player trends that can help us make our roster decisions as we search for the perfect lineup. As always, you can check out my weekly rankings list (now with additional rankings from additional writers!) to supplement these sit/start recommendations.
We like to have a little fun here at QB List, which means I don’t spend too much time on auto-start guys like Josh Allen Or Ja’Marr Chase. So instead of inundating you with statistics about how awesome they are, I’m going to pick a theme and try to figure out how they fit into said theme. This week we’re doing a little unofficial collaboration with our sister site, Pitcher List, and comparing the best in the NFL to the best in baseball with the current league championship series(es). The baseball playoffs and NFL season are in full swing, which is why October is truly the best month.
A few quick notes before you get started:
- Remember that seats/departures and rankings are not set in stone. These are tools to guide you, not rules to follow blindly. Use them to make your own decisions and make the best roster adjustments for your team. Good Matchups are great, but getting too cute can cost you a week. Ask yourself: “Will I feel more tortured by benching player X and taking him out, or by not benching player Y?”
- Have fun, talk trash and win your matches. If you don’t, there’s always next week.
Let’s go and start the season on a good note!
