T-Mobile’s new plans are called T-Mix, here’s a first look (exclusive)
Update: Discover our latest news on T-Mix here!
It’s been weeks of rumors and teases circulating, but we finally found some real information on T-Mobile’s next big move: T-Mix.
T-Mobile plans to launch a whole new fleet of plans under a new name “T-Mix”. There will be a “Standard”, “Plus” and “Charged” version. Here’s what we know so far.
Three levels
T-Mobile is returning to the traditional system of offering customers three tiers of plans. Right now, your lowest “primary” plan available is Experience More, followed by the top tier Experience Beyond.
Before Experience plans, we had Go5G, Go5G Plus, and Go5G Next, a three-tier system. Now, T-Mobile is returning to this format with T-Mix. These packages are all tax-free, just like Experience, so the price does not include taxes and fees. Please note that all of this information is subject to change prior to launch.
The first is T-Mix Standard. It will start at $65 for a single line and includes the usual unlimited calls, texts and data, plus 50GB of premium data. Two lines will cost $105, three lines $130, four lines $155, five lines $180 and finally 6 lines $205.
Then there is More. Starting at $85 for a line, it offers unlimited premium data and 60GB of hotspot. This is more in line with Experience, but $5 cheaper for single lines.
Finally, there is Loaded T-Mix. It will be $105 per month for a single line, unlimited premium data, and 250GB of hotspot data, just like Experience Beyond.
All pricing on the More and Loaded plans matches their Experience counterparts exactly, except for the one line on More. These prices make not include autopay discount.
There is also a new “Essentials Saver 3.0” plan that will have a maximum of two lines and will cost $55 for a single line and $100 for two lines. It includes 50 GB of premium data.
There are also typical segmented variations of these plans for 55+, first responder, military and student customers.
Other details

The information we have collected suggests the new T-Mix Standard the plan will allow a maximum of 6 lines on an account. Beyond that, you’ll need to upgrade to Plus or Charged.
We’ve also seen concrete evidence that there is some sort of new autopay discount in the works, which suggests there won’t be an 8-line cap on the autopay discount. It is very likely that this will start with the new plans.
What we don’t know
Admittedly, this is very little information to rely on. However, we are 100% confident in the new plan names as well as their variations.
We expect these plans to include some sort of new system to incorporate the new perks and benefits we detailed last month. Presumably, T-Mobile will let you choose which perks you want on the new T-Mix plans. The name itself implies that you can “mix and match,” and we suspect that will be the entire method of marketing these new plans.
It’s unclear when exactly these new plans will launch. They were originally scheduled for last week, then postponed until today (10/1), but at the time of publication, plans still haven’t been announced, so we suspect they’ve been delayed again.
Anyway, they’re coming soon. Keep an eye out for more information as we learn it.
