Lions lead Packers 17-14 after three quarters

Early in the third quarter, Green Bay announced that Rhyan was out with an ankle injury.

Goff fumbled the snap and McDuffie recovered it at the Detroit 42. Green Bay converted the first down with a 4-yard Jacobs run and a 9-yard pass to Jonnu Smith over the middle.

On third-and-6, Jacobs caught a short pass in the flat from Love and broke two tackles en route to a 25-yard touchdown to put the Packers back in front 14-10 with 12:14 left in the third quarter.

Detroit got a third-and-6 with a 10-yard pass from Goff to Isaac TeSlaa. Williams caught a 30-yard pass up the middle on the next play to the Green Bay 36.

Two runs by Gibbs gained nine yards. Javon Bullard tackled St. Brown for a 1-yard loss on a reverse. A referee fell on his back and signaled Wyatt for a personal hit on second and eleven.

Williams eventually caught a 10-yard touchdown catch to put Detroit up 17-14 with 6:33 left in the third quarter.

Green Bay made it three points on its next possession after Love’s third-and-9 deep ball to Golden fell incomplete.

The Packers nearly got a three-and-out, but Alex Moore flagged Brenton Cox Jr. for roughing the passer after being blocked on Jared Goff on a third-and-10.

Brandon Cisse picked off Goff, but was then flagged for pass interference to continue Detroit’s advance. Anthony Campbell broke up a pass at the line of scrimmage and Cisse completed a third-down pass in the end zone.

Detroit went for it on fourth-and-5 and Green Bay got the turnover after Cisse pushed Williams out of the back of the end zone. The Packers took over at their 6.

Kraft caught a 5-yard pass and Jacobs gained eight yards for the first down at the Detroit 19.
