President Donald Trump seemed to agree with the senator. Tom Cotton’s phone number in a Saturday morning social media post imploring the Arkansas Republican to support a bill to make daylight saving time permanent.

The president has spent months personally pushing Senate Republicans ending the practice of Americans changing their clocks twice a year, thereby cementing more hours of evening sunlight throughout the twelve calendar months.
