Trump to hold midterm rally in Wasilla
WASILLA, Alaska (KTUU) – President Donald Trump will hold a midterm rally in Wasilla on Tuesday, according to a release from the Republican National Committee.
The rally will take place at the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Sports Center on Tuesday, October 13. The rally will begin at 2 p.m. and the president’s remarks will begin at 3:30 p.m.
The campaigns for gubernatorial candidates Bernadette Wilson, Dave Bronson and Treg Taylor, U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan and U.S. Rep. Nick Begich, all Republicans, confirmed to Alaska’s News Source that their candidates will attend.
The rally comes a little more than a week after Vice President JD Vance visited Alaska to support Sen. Dan Sullivan’s re-election campaign, which included stops in Fairbanks and Anchorage. The president last came to Alaska in August 2025 for his summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Before that, the then-former president hosted a rally for U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka in July 2022 at the Alaska Airlines Center during the last U.S. Senate campaign in Alaska.
