LA Knight has found himself at the center of a lot of speculation as of late, particularly with his issues involving Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. But if you’re expecting WWE to suddenly turn him into a heel and align him with 946, don’t count on it.
During a recent Q&A session, WrestleVotes was asked if WWE had considered turning Knight heel and joining 946 as his storyline continues to intensify. According to WrestleVotes, that’s just not the direction the company wants to go.
“They don’t want to turn on LA Knight’s heels.”
The reason is quite simple. WrestleVotes said Knight still receives some of the biggest reactions on the roster, and WWE views that as something worth protecting rather than changing.
“It got a really good response.”
He also pointed out something that fans don’t usually see on television. According to WrestleVotes, Knight was the one who sent the fans home happy after the RAW broadcast ended, which is a place WWE doesn’t give to just anyone.
“In recent weeks, he’s the one who closed the show off-air. That doesn’t happen to just anyone.. He did the same thing last night.
The report comes after weeks of growing speculation about Knight’s direction, particularly after it was revealed that WWE had at least discussed the possibility of him scoring a shocking World Heavyweight Championship victory over Roman Reigns. On the September 28 edition of WWE RAW, Knight also made it clear that he was still focused on Roman, confronting The Bloodline backstage before telling them he would wait for the tribal leader next week.
For now, though, it doesn’t seem like WWE wants to change what already works. Knight continues to draw some of the loudest reactions on the roster, and based on this report, the company has no interest in changing that by turning on him.
