The Russian attack on the Odessa animal shelter yesterday killed 10 cats and three dogs.

Thirteen animals were killed Tuesday evening during a barbaric attack by Russian forces on an animal shelter in the Odessa region. The shelter building was directly hit and caught fire, according to the owner. Only five animals were rescued, all seriously burned.

Dr. Mengele would have been proud

A Wagner veteran now in Ukrainian captivity said Russian mercenaries in Mali were using captured Africans as live subjects for brutal “tactical medicine training.” In 2023-2024, Russian instructors deliberately mutilated African prisoners, after which the mercenaries trained to stop the bleeding.

In 2023-2024, Russian instructors deliberately mutilated African prisoners, after which the mercenaries trained to stop the bleeding. Explosives were attached to a prisoner’s leg and detonated. The Russians then practiced applying a tourniquet and dressing the wound. Another prisoner was shot in an artery near the armpit, while another was used for knife training – the Russians were practicing stabbing a person in the heart. Another prisoner had his leg cut off with an axe.

Ukrainian tanks move towards firing positions as Russian drones attempt to eliminate them.

This Russian freighter is going to need a lot of duct tape.

Footage of the Russian cargo ship VOLGA-4007, attacked by drones in the Black Sea after leaving Novorossiysk, shows the ship completely burned.

Anti-drone protection structures are still visible on board, but judging by the result, they did not contribute to protecting the ship. pic.twitter.com/4jckB7DJWm

Russia has a new drone designed to destroy electricity transmission pylons.

Emergency power outages were caused in kyiv after a strike on an electricity transmission line, according to DTEK. Zhytomyr is also experiencing emergency power cuts, while water supply disruptions have been reported in some areas of kyiv. #Ukraine

An Oleshky woman painfully escapes from the city.

A Ukrainian woman posted that her mother managed to escape from Oleshky, Kherson region. This is what this person wrote: “A week ago, my 67-year-old mother made the decision to leave the blocked town of Oleshky on foot. All these years, she refused to leave because she loved this city – or rather, what was left of it.

Since 2022, she has taken care of stray animals, housing nearly 30 dogs and cats. In recent months, she worried more about what they were going to eat than about feeding herself. But dogs and cats began to disappear from the yard. Because people have nothing to eat.

During the occupation, my mother: Lost our apartment due to a direct hit. She lost her husband’s house due to the flood caused by the destruction of the Kakhovka hydroelectric station (and miraculously survived the time).

I lost my grandmother’s second home to a drone strike a week and a half ago (she was inside and miraculously survived). Yet months of starvation (everything written about people surviving in Oleshky is an understatement) forced her to choose: fear or life. She chose life and took the risk.

She traveled more than 20 km on mined roads, where cars and people are constantly targeted by drones. Then, for a week, by various means, she left the occupied zone and today arrived in kyiv.

Russia would like everyone to know that everything is fine in Oleshky.

Let’s check the fuel situation in Russia.

This is what happens to election experts in Russia.

According to political analyst Ekaterina Schulmann, the FSB tortured election expert Alexander Kynev with electric shocks and broke his leg in two places while trying to force him to confess to his treason. When he refused, she said, they charged him with a drug crime. t.me/tvrain/111762

Damn, that’s a shame.

The Russian presidential administration faces unexpected problems. According to Russian media, head of administration Anton Vaino and his deputy Sergei Kiriyenko both fell ill with the flu and/or COVID.

Did Poland succeed or is this just excellent trolling?

The question, of course, is what to do about it.

Estonia officially accused Russian intelligence services of leading a sabotage attack on the NATO member state’s territory last month.

Russia says it is ready to go nuclear to keep Kaliningrad.

Oh no! Saint Dmitry has gone MIA.

1/ A few weeks after the sacred relics of Saint Dmitri Donskoy were “rediscovered” and exhibited in the occupied regions of Ukraine to boost the morale of Russian troops, the Russian army reportedly lost them. This comes just over 4 years after the Russian Navy lost the True Cross of Jesus. ⬇️

– ChrisO_wiki (@chriso-wiki.bsky.social) 2026-09-30T12:12:44.181Z

2/ The relics of Saint Dmitri Donskoy, a medieval Russian warrior prince, were “rediscovered” in August 2026 during restoration work on the Archangel Cathedral inside the Kremlin. The Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Defense Ministry quickly sent the relics to Ukraine.

3/ On September 18, the Russian MOD announced that its troops would fight with the flaming sword of Dmitri Donskoy. It announced: “The ark containing the relics of the Holy Righteous Prince Dmitry Donskoy has been delivered to the units of the “East” group.

4/ “The services took place at the command post of one of the group’s units, in the field chapels and at the underground field hospital. Anyone who wished could touch the holy relic.”

5/ “The soldiers were very excited by the arrival of the ark with the holy relics. As many soldiers noted, it was a real celebration for them.”

6/ However, the story would not have had a happy ending. ‘Kremlin Snuffbox’ reports that some of the relics were lost during a retreat following a Ukrainian attack (the location is not specified). According to a source cited by the channel:

7/ “We were transporting several reliquaries containing the relics of Saint Prince Dmitri through the special military operation zone. On part of the front, the site of a prayer service where the officers had gathered was bombed.

8/ “The military were forced to retreat and, unfortunately, they lost the relics. The enemy is now at this site. We believe that the holy prince protected the military; almost no one was killed during the retreat from the place of prayer. But the loss is still enormous. Well, it’s war.”

You’re going to be a dad.

A Ukrainian soldier learned he was going to become a father during a video call with his wife, who also serves in the army.

And finally, something relaxing.

All soldiers are civilians obliged to defend their country. Among them are artists, scientists, teachers, athletes and ordinary people. Nobody chose war. pic.twitter.com/YeIkZfQVVN
