Shocking video shows Amazon delivery driver peeing all over lobby of swanky New York apartment

A barbaric Amazon delivery driver was filmed urinating all over the lobby of a swanky Greenwich Village apartment building – leaving one resident angered by the “filthy” delivery.

The disturbing footage captured by Donny, a 30-year-old tenant living in a four-story apartment near the corner of Bleecker Street and Carmine Avenue, showed the moment an Amazon delivery driver unzipped his pants outside his apartment on Aug. 26 and began spraying urine in the hallways and on furniture.

“He went right back in there like he’d done it a hundred times, like second nature,” Donny told the Post of the disgusting Ring footage.

“I had shoes in the hallway, a chair in the hallway, a table in the hallway and he was peeing and splashing everywhere,” the resident added.

The footage shows a man wearing a light blue and gray Amazon delivery driver uniform ringing the electronic doorbell system around 3 p.m. to enter the building.

Donny, who wished not to be identified by his last name, let the driver into the building and thought nothing was unusual — until he later checked the footage on the Ring app and was shocked by what he saw.

The footage shows the delivery man looking down the hallway, presumably to check if the coast is clear before opening his pants and going about his business on Donny’s belongings.

When Donny contacted Amazon to complain about the genie, he said Amazon called it a “horrible” incident and dropped a simple $50 gift card to apologize.

“I didn’t think it was appropriate for what happened,” Donny said. He refused the coupon, he added.

Donny claims he had several belongings soaked in the stranger’s urine, including shoes, a chair and a table, which he said he had to throw away.

He said he now feared that every time he let a delivery driver into the building, they too would repeat their “vile” act.

“Now every time an Amazon driver rings my doorbell, I have to check the camera to make sure he’s not peeing in my hallway,” Donny said.

He also said he was worried it would happen in front of someone close to him, like his 5-year-old nephew who often comes to visit.

“He easily could have been there. My girlfriend could have come out and seen this happening while it was happening,” he said.

Attorney Cary London of Fredson Statmore Bitterman said he is exploring possible litigation against Amazon.

“We are exploring all legal avenues against Amazon,” London said. “But what we would really like to see is a change in Amazon’s policy, in addition to monetary compensation.”

The delivery driver has not been identified.

Amazon distanced itself from the delivery driver, saying he was not directly employed by the company, but rather worked for one of the giant’s independent “delivery service partners.”

“This does not reflect the standards we expect from delivery service partners,” Amazon spokeswoman Leigh Anne Gullett said in a statement. “The individual no longer delivers Amazon packages.”

The delivery app provides drivers with locations where restrooms are available and routes include a 30-minute lunch and two additional 15-minute breaks.
